Some AIM BR managers measure the performance of their portfolio service based on a sample portfolio: this sample portfolio may differ significantly to what individual investors are invested in, or be identical to what all investors are invested in if they are operating a model portfolio. Other methods include taking the average or the median performance of all portfolios in their service. Some AIM BR managers calculate the performance of their service net of fees, and others calculate the performance gross of fees.
